Electronics End Cutting Nippers
- Precision pliers for ultra fine cutting work, e. g. in electronics and fine mechanics
- Sturdy, zero backlash box joint
- Low-friction double spring for smooth and even opening
- The polish or mirror polish together with a fine film of oil offer effective rust protection – no circuit faults caused by peeling chrome from plated tools
- Cutting edges additionally laser-hardened, cutting edge hardness approx. 56 HRC
Description
Electronics end cutting nippers (also known as end cutters or nippers) are specialized precision tools with cutting edges at the very end of the jaws, allowing them to cut flush against a surface. They are primarily used in electronics for trimming component leads on printed circuit boards (PCBs), cutting soft wires in tight spaces, and fine-mechanics assembly.
These high-end tools are often chosen by professionals for their zero-backlash box joints and induction-hardened cutting edges, which ensure long-term accuracy and durability.
- Capacity: Designed for ultra-fine cutting of soft wire up to 1.5 mm and medium-hard wire up to 1.0 mm.
- Features:Features a low-friction double spring for smooth opening and a mirror-polished finish to prevent circuit faults from peeling chrome.
- Material:Made in Japan from high-carbon steel with a hardness of HRC 58±4.
- ESD Safety:Features an ESD-safe handle made of thermoplastic elastomer that is also oil-resistant. For sensitive electronic environments, ESD-safe handles are crucial to prevent static discharge from damaging components
- Design: It includes an opening angle adjuster, an ergonomic grip and spring return action and a lanyard hole for added safety during operation. Sturdy, zero backlash box joint.
- Specification: A 115 mm tool with a 27° angled head for better access in confined PCB areas.
- Applications:Trimming PCB leads, cutting work, e. g. in electronics and fine mechanics, model making, and jewellery processing.
- Performance:Expertly crafted for full-flush cutting of copper and soft lead wires without leaving ridges.
