RAYCHEM  Heat Shrinkable  End Termination Kits available for both indoor applications (Plain design Without Skirting ) and outdoor applications with Skirting for Extending the Creepage level , available from 1.1 KV and Upto 245 KV.

Also, Raychem Switchgear Outer Cone Termination Kit – Larger termination kit for switchgear applications is also available.

What These Heat-Shrink Kits Do:

Raychem heat-shrinkable end termination kits are engineered to terminate and seal electrical cables at their ends so that the conductor insulation, shielding, and outer sheath are properly sealed and protected. They use heat-shrinkable polymer tubing that, when heated, shrinks tightly around the cable, often with an adhesive lining, to:

• Provide moisture-proof encapsulation and environmental protection.
• Maintain electrical insulation and prevent tracking or breakdown.
• Create a stress-controlled termination (especially in medium voltage kits).
• Allow installation in indoor, or outdoor conditions depending on kit type.

Installation Notes

• Heat is applied (usually with a hot air gun or Gas torch) to shrink the tubing onto the cable and form a sealed termination.
• These kits include adhesive-lined sleeves for better moisture sealing.
