Types of Impact Sockets
Standard (Shallow) Impact Socket – For normal bolts.

SAE Impact Socket – Sizes in inches.
6-Point Socket – Better grip, most common.
12-Point Socket – Used where more angle flexibility is needed.
Important Note : Using normal socket on impact wrench can cause breakage.
Description
An impact socket is a heavy-duty socket designed to be used with impact tools like impact wrenches or impact drivers.

Black finish: Not shiny—often black oxide instead of chrome
Thicker walls: Less likely to crack or shatter

Impact sockets are designed to use with high impact load as Regular (chrome) sockets can break dangerously if used on an impact wrench
How Does It Work?
It is attached to an impact wrench.
The wrench gives rapid hammering (rotational force).
The impact socket transfers this force to tighten or loosen nuts and bolts.
It absorbs shock and prevents cracking.
